Peer Response Post #2 – Ed Lazaga

For this response post, I have focused on Ed’s blog post #2 about Pedagogy and Networked Learning.

Hi Ed!

I really appreciated your insights on pedagogy, especially the emphasis on active and collaborative learning to increase engagement. Your focus on differentiation is key, as adapting to various learning styles fosters inclusivity and helps all students thrive.

Building on your thoughts about networked pedagogy, I agree that technology enhances communication and access to resources. However, I’m curious if there are more ways educators could address the isolation in digital spaces, perhaps by incorporating virtual study groups or peer mentorship.

Lastly, your connection to constructivism was insightful. Actively engaging with material and linking it to past experiences makes learning more meaningful. Do you think other learning theories could complement constructivism in online learning environments?

Great post! I enjoyed your reflections on creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
